Dr. Stephan Huewel now head of Innovation Management at Haver & Boecker

(pressebox) Oelde, 10.10.2008 - Effective August 1st, 2008, Dr. Stephan Huewel took over as Manager of the Innovation Management Department at Haver & Boecker - the German specialist for processing and packing loose, bulk materials. He succeeds his predecessor Dipl.-Ing. Alois Combrink, who retired in early September.

This transfer of responsibility marks a new direction for the area of research and development, and with it brings a changed scope of activity for Haver's new head of Innovation Management. Previously Dr. Huewel made a name for himself as Managing Director of the Haver Technology Center in Muenster, where he oversaw the development and imple-mentation of new concepts which drove innovation. He now brings this solid foundation of experience to the company's product development. By closely interweaving the outstanding expertise of various areas within the Haver Technology Group, and using Haver's enhanced cooperation with leading universities, research centers, trade associations and development partners, Dr. Huewel will surely add new energy to the Innovation Management Department. "Our target is to secure and further expand Haver & Boecker's technological leadership", says Dr. Huewel. This is why "today it is imperative to address the challenges of the future and to deliver solutions ".
