Echtzeitfähige Java-Technologie gewinnt an Fahrt, wobei aicas die Führung der RTSJ, der Realtime Specification for Java, übernimmt. Dr. James J. Hunt, CEO von aicas, ist nun auch Spec Lead von JSR 282 und Maintenance Lead von JSR 1. Das aicas-Team bedankt sich bei Peter Dibble, der die RTSJ für TimeSys geleitet hat, für die langjährige Arbeit. JSR 282 wird die RTSJ um bessere Unterstützung für die Interaktion mit Geräten und dem besseren Management von Realtime Tasks erweitern. Als Mitglied des Java Community Process, nimmt aicas eine aktive Rolle ein bei der Entwicklung und Erweiterung der Java-Programmiersprache für Echtzeitsysteme und Embedded Sxsqegk.
