3,4 Millionen Euro Förderung für Prof. Dr. Jan Korvink

Prof. Dr. Jan G. Korvink, Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Simulation am Institut für Mikrosystemtechnik (IMTEK) der Universität Freiburg, bekommt vom Europäischen Forschungsrat (ERC) einen mit 3,4 Millionen Euro dotierten Advanced Grant für grundlagenorientierte Forschung. Mit der auf fünf Jahre angelegten Förderung wird Korvink gemeinsam mit der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Dr. Ralf Baumeister, Leiter des Zentrums für Biosystemanalyse der Universität Freiburg, eine Mikrosystem-Plattform entwickeln, die völlig neue Perspektiven für die systembiologische Forschung eröffnet.
