Cognitec announces major contract award from Ogier Electronics

Cognitec Systems, the leading provider of face recognition technology and systems, announced an important purchase order from UK based Ogier Electronics. Ogier is the main contractor for a large security system to be delivered to a Middle East country. An essential part, to be delivered by Cognitec, is a surveillance system based on 90 video cameras to be installed mainly at airports and border crossing points. Inputs from these cameras will be used to match facial images against a watch list database of images of known offenders.
