Mehrere hundert EnBW E-Biker schwärmen am Sonntag, dem 4. Juli 2010, in die Region Stuttgart aus. Ihre spannende Mission: Die Verkehrsregion der Zukunft - ohne Smog und Abgase im Praxistest. Die Elektro-Flotte der EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, die ab Sommer mit 500 E-Bikes die Straßen bereichert, gilt als die derzeit größte in Deutschland. Ausgerüstet mit Datenloggern erfassen die Testfahrer der elektrisch betriebenen Zweiräder ein Jahr lang ihr Mobilitäts- und Ladeverhalten im Alltag. Das Projekt ist Bestandteil des Förderprogramms "Modellregionen Elektromobilität" des Bundesministeriums für Verkehr, Bau und Stadtentwicklung.
