Essemtec Launches the New CUBUS Storage Solution at SMT in Nuremberg

Essemtec, the Swiss manufacturer of production systems for electronic assembly and packaging, launches CUBUS, its next-generation storage tower, at SMT 2014 in Nuremberg

"With the development of a next-generation storage system, Essemtec has gone one step ahead of the current storage systems and their limitations," states Manuel Jenni, Product Manager. The new CUBUS has user-adjustable shelves that can be varied in 5 mm steps and are auto-configured. Thus reels range from 8 to 72 mm and are easily accommodated. Moreover, the shelves occupy either two small 7" reels or one 13 or 15" reel, further optimizing packing density without compromising flexibility. It can store 5-6 reels per minute.
