EEX: Rekordvolumen am Spotmarkt für Erdgas

Erstmals mehr als 2,5 TWh Erdgas in einem Monat gehandelt

Der Spothandel für Erdgas an der European Energy Exchange (EEX) hat im Monat Oktober einen neuen Rekord erreicht. Mit einem Volumen von 2.531.947 MWh (Marktgebiete GASPOOL, NCG und TTF) wurde das bislang höchste monatliche Volumen seit dem Handelsstart am Spotmarkt für Erdgas umgesetzt (Volumen GASPOOL und NCG im Oktober 2010: 1.010.135 MWh). Der letzte Monatsrekord am Spotmarkt wurde im Juni 2010 mit 2.418.071 MWh festgestellt.

Mit 4.194 Handelsgeschäften wurde in diesem Monat die 19-fache Anzahl von Handelsgeschäften im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat (222) abgeschlossen. In untertägigen Produkten (Within-Day) wurden an der EEX 1.389.244 MWh (113.391 MW) in 2.357 Geschäften gehandelt.
