Aber schon heute sind diese Technologien aus unserem Alltag nicht mehr weg zu denken: ob als Leuchtdiode beim Bremslicht, in der Fernbedienung der Stereoanlage oder in der Digitalkamera. Die neue Kompetenzplattform „Optische Technologien“ an der Fachhochschule Münster wird sich künftig diesem breiten Einsatzbereich widmen. Das Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Forschung des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen fördert – wie heute aus Düsseldorf bekannt gegeben wurde – die Kompetenzplattform über fünf Jahre mit 500.000 Euro.
