Tettnang, 01. März 2004, die Antivirenspezialisten aus dem Hause H+BEDV Datentechnik GmbH warnen alle Windows Anwender vor einem neuen Computervirus, der sich mit rasender Geschwindigkeit im Internet ausbreitet.

Die Betreffzeile, der Text in der Mail sowie der Name des Anhangs sind in englischer Sprache. Der Typ des Anhangs ist immer eine so genannte Pif-Datei, die den Wurm durch Aufruf aktiviert. Er versendet sich an alle Email-Adressen die er auf dem Wirts-PC findet. Gefährdet sind alle Windows-Betriebssysteme. Befallene Systeme werden am 02.03.04 zwischen 6:00 Uhr und 8:59 Uhr den Benutzer mit einem Dauersignalton nerven.
