Herth+Buss führt im Sortiment Elparts ab sofort ein neues innovatives Produkt – die Umrissleuchte BDS-2. Der Zweck von Umrissleuchten ist klar und lange bekannt. Eine Verbindung von Leuchte und Rückfahrhilfe auf optischer Basis ist dagegen neu und hat entscheidende Sicherheits- und Kostenvorteile. Durch das Einlegen des Rückwärtsgangs wird das System automatisch aktiviert. Setzt der Lkw zurück, erkennt der Sensor bereits ab einer Reichweite von 4,5 Metern Hindernisse und der Fahrer kann auch den schwersten Truck noch problemlos einparken. Denn drei verschiedene Blinkfrequenzen signalisieren ihm zuverlässig die abnehmende Entfernung zum Fahrbahnhindernis.
