Deutsche Konsumenten kaufen gerne Eigenmarken. In den meisten Produktgruppen kauft lediglich jeder Vierte bis Fünfte keine Private-Label-Produkte, so ein Ergebnis der neuen Grundlagenstudie "Eigenmarken und ihr Erfolgsgeheimnis: Was Kunden wirklich wollen" des IFH Köln. Am häufigsten greifen Konsumenten bei Milchprodukten und Hygienepapier auf Eigenmarken zurück. Bei Tabak und alkoholischen Getränken ist die Bindung an Markenprodukte am engsten, obwohl auch hier 33 bzw. 50 Prozent immer wieder Private-Label-Produkte kaufen. "Insgesamt ist der Anteil derer, die generell keine Eigenmarken kaufen, in vielen Produktbereichen eher gering, sodass sich an dieser Stelle enormes Umsatzpotenzial für den Handel bietet", so Bettina Willmann, Bereichsleiterin Forschung und Aruqkumg yo LCO Sbks.
