Verordnung von Contactlinsen neu geregelt - Ideale Indikation durch Videokeratometer

Gute Nachricht für Contactlinsenträger: Künftig können sich mehr Menschen Linsen ärztlich verordnen lassen und dabei die Kostenerstattung ihrer Krankenkasse beanspruchen. Durch eine Änderung der gesetzlichen Hilfsmittelrichtlinien werden Kosten für Contactlinsen nun wieder anteilig erstattet. Das gilt bei einer Hornhauttransplantation (Keratoplastik) ebenso wie bei einer stärkeren Vorwölbung der Hornhaut (Keratokonus). "Entscheidend für die Verordnung ist die Diagnose mit einem Spezialgerät, dem Videokeratometer", erklärt Contactlinsenspezialist Peter Fanti, Vorsitzender des Verbands INTERLENS e. V. (Stuttgart), einem bundesweiten Zusammenschluss von mehr als 30 Contactlinsen-Instituten.

Sichere Diagnose durch INTERLENS

Mittlerweile zählt bei Keratokonus nicht mehr die 30-prozentige Sehschärfe, ausschlaggebend für eine Linsenverordnung ist
