Im September steht zum wiederholten Male die Oberflächentechnik für Kunststoffteile am Lüdenscheider Kunststoff-Institut im Vordergrund. Der Titel "Mehr Mut zur Anmutung - Oberflächengestaltung als Chance" deutet schon an, dass es gilt, neue Wege zu beschreiten und neue Verfahren und "mutige" Oberflächentechnologien zur Erprobung und Serienreife zu bringen.

Die Gestaltung von Oberflächen bildet seine Herausforderung in Zeiten, da die Ansprüche an jedes Kunststoffprodukt wachsen. Wo weltweit jeder beinahe alles produzieren kann, kommt es mehr denn je auf den kleinen, aber feinen Unterschied an.
