In den Morgenstunden des 7. November 2013 ist auf der Delitzscher Straße, Höhe Hausnummer 150, eine Trinkwasserleitung aus dem Jahr 1934 gebrochen. Die KWL – Kommunale Wasserwerke Leipzig GmbH hat die betreffende Stelle sofort abgesichert und mit den notwendigen Reparaturmaßnahmen an der 20 Zentimeter starken Leitung begonnen. Die Reparaturarbeiten werden im Laufe des heutigen Nachmittags beendet. Anwohner werden heute zwischenzeitlich über Wasserwagen versorgt. Grund der Havarie ist vermutlich die starke Verkehrsbelastung in diesem Bereich.

Verkehrsbeeinträchtigungen in der Delitzscher Straße

Aufgrund des Schadens ist die stadtauswärtige Fahrspur der Delitzscher Straße zwischen Eutritzscher Markt und Essener Straße aktuell halbseitig gesperrt.
