The benefit for airlines is the speed and reliability of planning and scheduling without causing additional overhead costs. The "Rent-a-plan" service provides comprehensive support, data and expertise tailored to each individual airline.
The service was first introduced with Estonian Air which has been using the approach successfully since October 2011. Last week the airline announced a 75% increase in the number of transit passengers since the start of the mawk.
