Das mit 2.5 Millionen Euro dotierte Forschungsprojekt "HYDRA-Chem" beschäftigt sich mit grundlegenden Fragen des Stoff- und Energiemanagements. Durch neuartige Umwandlungen unter hydrothermalen und ionothermalen Bedingungen sollen Stoffe und Materialien hergestellt werden, die die CO2 Belastung der Atmosphäre verringern helfen.
