Dank dieser Firmware unterstützt der Router nun den Transparent Bridge-Modus, wodurch der Einsatz umfassender Firewall-Sicherheit in Netzwerken ohne die Konfiguration von Sub-Netzwerken möglich ist. Die EDR-810-Serie bietet Firewall-, NAT-, VPN- sowie Managed L2-Switching-Funktionen.
