In Hall 5, Stand 5B41, MTA will be showcasing the latest innovations in stationary and mobile conveyor technology, such as an AGV equipped with MTA drives, compact differential drives, gearless direct drives for fastbots, drive-steering drives for omnidirectional vehicles and drives for load handling devices. MTA also offers controller technology that is perfectly tailored to the application.
The highlight is an innovative control concept with integrated safety functionality for controlling AGV/AMR drives. Prefabricated drive-related software functions simplify programming and reduce commissioning times. Full digitalization, a vertical communication concept and reduced interfaces ensure optimum diagnostic options for the control and drive train right up to the wheel hub drive with integrated drive electronics. Integrated drive controllers have drive-related safety functions. Safety functionalities of the vehicle are bundled in the upstream drive control system and linked to logical vehicle functions in the freely programmable application area of the control system.
MTA presents gearless motorized rollers and drum motors for stationary conveyor technology. The compact solutions, maximum availability and long service life provide conveyor technology manufacturers with considerable market advantages. For this purpose, MTA has developed solutions with which all types of interfaces to higher-level control systems can be realized. This guarantees a standardized connection to bus systems such as Profinet, ASi, etc. The interface modules enable integration without changing existing topologies. Existing systems can also be converted to MTA technology.
For highly efficient sorter applications, MTA presents gearless sorter drives in a compact design. The slim design and individual control of each individual sorter motor enables highly dynamic discharge and smooth motion sequences. MTA sorter motors have been proving their worth for years in the logistics centers of the world's largest online retailer in the consumer goods sector.
With a sophisticated retrofit concept, MTA contributes to sustainability and a reduction in the CO2 footprint. This makes much better use of existing resources and achieves a significant reduction in energy requirements.
