Sie erlaubt nicht nur die Konvertierung von 3D-Modellen aus den aktuellen Versionen CATIA V5, Siemens NX 10, Autodesk Inventor 2015, Solid Edge ST7, Creo Parametric 3.0, Parasolid 27, SolidWiorks 2015 und JT 10, sondern bietet dank PLM XML auch eine direkte Übernahme von PLM-Strukturen in PDF-Dokumente und ermöglicht dadurch eine noch engere Einbindung in die Unternehmensprozesse.

PROSTEP PDF Generator 3D bietet in der neuen Version eine Reihe von Verbesserungen beim Einlesen und Verarbeiten von CAD-Daten aus CATIA, Creo und NX sowie bei der Visualisierung von PMI-Informationen aus SolidWorks.
