NORMA Group fuel transport systems reduce weight of new motorcycle model

NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, is supplying Fuel Transport Tube Systems (FTS) for a new model of an Italian motorcycle manufacturer on a serial basis. The plastic lines connect the supply and return of the electronically controlled fuel injection in the motorcycle.

The motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer has greatly reduced trim. The total weight of the motorcycle has thus been reduced to only about 180 kilograms with a displacement of 1,200 cubic cm and about 150 hp. The weight-reduced NORMA Group transport tube systems also contribute to this.
