In den vergangenen Monaten wurde in der Presse wiederholt über eine Beendigung der Zuwendungen der Behörde für Bildung und Sport (BBS) an die SBB Stiftung Berufliche Bildung sowie über die Gefährdung des Fortbestands der SBB berichtet. BBS und SBB haben jetzt vereinbart, dass für 2005 eine letztmalige Zuwendung an die SBB erfolgt. Zielsetzung ist dabei, die SBB für diesen Zeitraum abzusichern, so dass sie sich so umstrukturieren kann, dass eine Fortführung ihrer Arbeit zukünftig ohne regelmäßige Zuwendungen der BBS möglich ist. Mit der Schaffung dieser Perspektive zur Fortführung der SBB ist noch einmal ein erheblicher Personalabbau verbunden.
