Als superflache Kaltlichtquelle ist sie die ideale Ergänzung in Folientastaturen für Nachtdesign-Anwendungen. Eine gleichmäßige Aus-leuchtung der Flächen (bis 650 Quadratzentimeter) bei Beschriftungen und/oder Tasten, sowie in weiten Grenzen einstellbare Helligkeit, gelten als weitere Vorteile dieser beleuchtbaren Folie. Die Lebensdauer wird vom Hersteller mit mehr als 20.000 Stunden angegeben. Die Farben der Leuchtflächen können in Gelb-Grün, Grün-Blau, Weiß und Orange ausgeführt werden.
