Today Bekaert's Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders took place, with Baron Buysse, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the chair.
The meeting approved the balance sheet and the income statement as at 31 December 2010, as submitted by the Board of Directors, including the distribution of a gross dividend of € 1 per share. This will bring the total gross dividend (including the intermediate dividend of € 0.6671 distributed as from 15 October 2010) to € 1.667, compared with € 0.980 last year.
The dividend ex-date is 13 May 2011.
