Birte Frommer, Mitarbeiterin des Fachgebiets Umwelt- und Raumplanung der TU Darmstadt wurde mit einem Werner-Ernst- Preis ausgezeichnet. Sie erhielt den mit 2000 Euro dotierten ersten Preis für ihre Arbeit "Handlungs- und Steuerungsfähigkeit von Städten und Regionen im Klimawandel. Der Beitrag der strategischen Planung zur Erarbeitung und Umsetzung regionaler Anpassungsstrategien."
