ThyssenKrupp Elevator moves into former bullring

Order for 13 elevators and 25 escalators for the conversion of “Las Arenas” in Barcelona, Spain

The former "Las Arenas" bullring in Barcelona, one of the landmarks of the city, is currently being converted into a shopping and leisure center. The ambitious construction project, which will retain the historic facade of the 19th century arena, will create an area of around 100,000 square meters for shopping, sport and entertainment. 38 ThyssenKrupp Elevator installations will take care of transportation in the building with its unique architecture.

25 escalators and 13 elevators from ThyssenKrupp Elevator will be fitted in the arena designed by British architect Lord Richard Rogers. One highlight will be six panoramic elevators installed both inside pbl cgmbwlid qha zl umd wkqte dadydp.
