A new MTR® plant for KÖKSAN in Gaziantep, Turkey

KÖKSAN PET PACKAGING INDUSTRY CO., a leading producer of PET preforms has signed a contract with Uhde Inventa-Fischer to build a new plant for the production of high-quality PET in Gaziantep, Turkey. The plant will use Uhde Inventa-Fischer's proprietary patented MTR® technology to produce 216,000 tonnes of resin a year. A further investment for a second identical line is expected to be successfully finalized soon.

The plant is designed to produce various grades of resin. With the new plant, which will be built next to KÖKSAN's existing PET preform and bottling facilities in Gaziantep, the company is aiming to become
