Die Münchner ADVITOS GmbH entwickelt die CE-zertifizierte und weltweit patentierte ADVOS-Therapie (ADVanced Organ Support) – die erste Therapie für Multiorganunterstützung integriert in einem einzigen Gerät. Das ADVOS-Verfahren verbessert die Überlebensrate von Patienten durch die zeitgleiche Unterstützung der drei Hauptentgiftungsorgane des menschlichen Körpers: Leber, Lunge und Nieren. Die Therapie ermöglicht die flüssigkeitsbasierte Entfernung von wasserlöslichen Giften (Niere), eiweißgebundenen Giften (Leber, Niere), und CO2 (Lunge). Zusätzlich ermöglicht das ADVOS-Verfahren durch die gezielte Veränderung des Blut-pH-Werts die rasche Korrektur des Säure-Basen-Haushalts. Die ADVOS-Therapie wird deutschlandweit auf Intensivstationen an 20 führenden Kliniken eingesetzt und ist auf dem Weg, auch den internationalen Markt zu durchdringen. Die ADVITOS GmbH erhält Mittel aus dem Forschungs- und Innovationsprogramm „Horizont 2020“ der Europäischen Union.
