achelos GmbH is a bronze partner again this year at DMEA in Berlin, Europe's leading trade show for digital health. From 25 to 27 April 2023, the eHealth experts from Paderborn will be exhibiting in Hall 6.2, Stand B-102 under the slogan "Digital Healthcare – securely connected !" together with CGI Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG. Visitors to the stand can learn more about comprehensive solutions for digital healthcare and secure management of digital identities.
Digitalisation is advancing in healthcare and poses many new challenges for service providers. The goal is to achieve a connected digital healthcare system in Germany. In pursuit of this aim, the next level of the telematics infrastructure (TI) is under development in the form of TI 2.0. Together with the electronic patient file, this will constitute the foundation for the new system. Over some 15 years, achelos have established themselves as experts with significant expertise in consulting, testing, approval and development concerning all aspects of the telematics infrastructure in Germany.

TI Services
achelos supports manufacturers of digital health solutions and specialist service providers with developing, testing and approving TI applications and services. It goes without saying that gematik requirements are taken into account so that the new application can be connected with the telematics infrastructure.
This begins with consulting before and throughout the entire project, combines individual testing services with powerful automated test suites, and extends to taking on all development, testing and documentation work. achelos offers the full value chain for providing comprehensive support for customer projects. Along with their outstanding telematics knowledge, the achelos team will also be showcasing their extensive expertise in security, chip cards, digital identities, and HSM and PKI technology.
IDP solutions and support
From 1 January 2024, the statutory health insurance funds will be legally obliged to offer their policyholders the use of alternative insuree identities. As development towards TI 2.0 advances, digital identities are also planned for service providers such as doctors, surgeries and hospitals. The provision of digital identities requires the development and approval of an Identity Provider Service (IDP). This service creates and manages alternative insuree identities. achelos offers all-round support to future providers and operators with the development and approval of a sectoral Identity Provider (IDP). At DMEA, achelos will be presenting its service portfolio, which ranges from consulting and development to testing and approval support.
TI simulation
Prior to their successful use in TI applications, new hardware and software components require official approval from 'gematik', Germany's national agency for the digitalisation of the healthcare system.
With its TI Simulator, achelos offers a unique, homogeneous, gematik-compliant simulation environment for the telematics infrastructure that can flexibly simulate both central and local components of the TI. The simulation environment provides the full range of support for generating and documenting in-house tests. This enables manufacturers to prove that their product meets the approval requirements.
Security test suites
achelos offers testing tools to test products, solutions and services for security and conformity in a manufacturer-independent approach. The TLS test suites facilitate identification and securing of gaps and errors in the implementation and configuration of network connections and in the operation of web services. The test objectives are to test the complete structure of the TLS connection, all the way up to mutual authentication and reaction to incorrect behaviour.
