"We firmly believe that the potential of women in the healthcare sector should be promoted in a targeted way. achelos is therefore keen to get actively involved in the dialogue, address concerns and take part in events – so that both sides can benefit from the network. Digitalisation of the healthcare sector has brought up a whole host of aspects that are also relevant from a sociopolitical perspective. The key for us is to ensure open exchange on an equal footing. The cordial atmosphere on the HCF platform really makes it fun chatting with other women from the sector”, comments Kathrin Asmuth, Managing Partner at achelos, explaining the reasons behind the company’s decision to join Healthcare Frauen e. V. (HCF).
The vision of HCF is to encourage companies to offer women more management positions as a way of both securing and improving a sustainable economy in the healthcare sector. The aim is to empower women, which in turn should promote diversity at management level. A healthy transformation in the healthcare sector can then be developed on this basis. It is important to assume social responsibility here, to live out a modern and diverse image of women and family, and to offer women working in management a protected framework for both their professional and personal development. HCF stands for loyalty, tolerance and freedom, as well as development and advancement. These are the same values that motivated Kathrin Asmuth to found achelos GmbH back in 2008.
