The Advantech-DLoG vehicle terminals range from compact versions with a 7" display and go up to 10", 12", and 15" devices when there is a greater need for visualization. All models, even the most compact model with an installation depth of just 7 cm, feature numerous wireless and cable based forms of communication. This makes them particularly diverse and allows them to be adapted to a wide variety of uses. Advantech-DLoG can also implement individual technical modifications and even design completely customized products for its customers.
The robust Advantech-DLoG industrial terminals work with all common operating systems and are equipped with durable, user-friendly touchscreens. The new DLT-V83 series is also available with a PCT touchscreen that combines high resistance against breakage with optimal scratch and abrasion resistance.
"The display quality on our industrial PCs is excellent even in difficult applications. The displays are as easily readable in direct sunlight as they are in enclosed spaces, which is important for applications in which the lighting conditions vary," explains Robert Vasenda, Global Strategic Product Management & Marketing Advantech-DLoG. The terminals can also withstand heavy vibrations and humidity and are not affected by extreme temperature shocks. The advanced DLT-V8310 vehicle terminal can be upgraded with additional options like an integrated heater for cold/damp environments or uninterruptible power supply (UPS), which allows the terminal to continue operating during a battery change.
Difficult transmission and reception conditions demand high-performance WLAN solutions. The new DLT-V8310 offers optional integrated diversity antennas for fast and reliable roaming and uninterrupted data transmission. An existing WLAN can also be simultaneously used for Voice-over-IP. WWAN with various radio standards (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA), GPS and Bluetooth significantly increase the flexibility of your communications.
