Heating system check with evaluation instrument HC-10

The new AFRISO HC-10 evaluation instrument is used to assess the energetic efficiency of heating systems (surface and ventilation losses) as per EN 15378 and to measure vacuum in installation rooms of combustion systems (4 Pascal measurement). The HC-10 evaluation instrument is an ergonomically designed hand-held device with a robust protective casing. It is operated via a touch pad with a special recess for easy scrolling. This technology allows for individual adjustment of the touch sensitivity and speed. The instrument features colour-coded menus for easy and intuitive operation. A high-resolution display ensures excellent readability of the measured value. HC-10 receives the measured values from the heating check module HC-M via Bluetooth. The module consists of the EP-Check, a straight Pitot tube SR-10 (with thermocouple) and a surface sensor. The EP-Check is equipped with a differential pressure sensor and a temperature connector socket. The measured values are recorded directly at the measuring point; there are no tubes required. On the basis of the measured values received, the HC-10 evaluation instrument automatically performs the calculations of the evaluation points. In addition, HC-10 allows you to measure temperature and differential pressure. HC-M enables measurement of any type of differential pressure in the range of +/-20 mbar. A MicroSD card allows for system-independent data storage. The measured data can optionally be transferred to a netbook or PC and the evaluation point be calculated by means of a special PC evaluation software. A Bluetooth interface is provided for communication between HC-10, HC-M and the netbook as well as other data acquisition systems.

If results are to be documented directly on site, the optional EURO PRINTER, a compact thermal printer, can be used. This printer is connected via a wireless infrared interface so there are no cables.
