The REVOLT TV channel launched on October 21st 2013, and is targeting the "millennial" audience of young adults 18 to 34 with a mixture of music videos, live performances, news, and interviews. In addition to its cable distribution, REVOLT uses social media to enable artists to engage with viewers through its web site, REVOLT.tv.
Sean "Diddy" Combs has partnered up with MTV veteran Andy Schuon, and the REVOLT founder has described it as “the first channel created entirely from the ground up in this new era of social media. We’re building this platform for artists to reach an extraordinary number of people in a completely different way.”
