Unilabs is the only diagnostics provider in Europe to combine laboratory, imaging and pathology diagnostics under a single roof. In order to better manage order fluctuations in the future, the innovative service provider decided to optimize and digitalize the HR processes relevant to working hours. ATOSS workforce scheduling is intended to relieve burdens on all 62 sites and, above all, on the 850 employees active in the laboratories. The modular workforce management software factors in canton-specific laws and regulations, the order situation, qualifications and working time models during planning. It also incorporates time and holiday balances, as well as special requirements and individual requests, into the scheduling process.
Unilabs wants to integrate all employees - also those without a PC workstation - into the working time management processes via the ATOSS Staff Center (Mobile) for intuitive selfservices. Employees will use the solution to record their working hours and request time bookings and absences in Switzerland's three national languages. Supervisors receive their tasks via push messages and can process them directly in the system. The working hours are automatically evaluated and transferred to the payroll system. The usability of the Staff Center, which can be tailored to the respective user role, is decidedly convenient and simple.
Barbara Hösli, Human Resources Director at Unilabs Switzerland, explains the goals of the workforce management project: "Given the Corona pandemic, our work really exploded. Thanks to digital HR processes and more flexible scheduling, we are achieving a better work-life balance and gaining time for our core processes, namely providing our customers with high-quality diagnostic services."
