Beak Consultants exhibits at the Mining INDABA 2017

6th - 9th February 2017, Cape Town (Republic of South Africa)

(PresseBox) (Freiberg, )
Beak Consultants GmbH is exhibiting at the Mining INDABA Conference in Cape Town from 6th until 9th February 2017. We invite you to visit us at booth 1418. Please contact Dr Andreas Barth or Dr Frank Schmidt for a personal meeting.

In 2016 / 2017, Beak Consultants GmbH further developed its advangeo® Software Solutions to satisfy the rising demands of big data storage, data processing and data distribution.

The artificial neural network based advangeo® Prediction Software was completed by implementing the alternative method of fuzzy logic as knowledge-based approach. New functionalities have been added to verify the reliability of predictive results, including statistics and network connection weight analysis. They considerably support the analysis and understanding of complex geological processes and relationships, like interaction of various mineral deposit forming processes and tectonic and lithological traps.

Data distribution and communication is now supported by advangeo® Online with web-based file sharing with automatic payment procedures using common credit cards. This approach eases the purchase of data, like geological maps and geochemical or geophysical datasets. Respective features were implemented on behalf of the Geological Survey of Tanzania (www.gst-datashop.com, www.gmis-tanzania.com).

The neural network based advangeo® 3D Prediction Software was successfully implemented and tested with big datasets from the German Erzgebirge (150 km x 40 km x 2 km) with 100 m resolution. Tin exploration targets have been generated. The software interacts with arbitrary 3D datasets generated by using any common 3D modeling software (e.g. SURPAC, leapfrog, GOCAD).

Beak's advangeo® Field Cap software supports the capture and initial processing of geological field data incl. sample parameters for hard material, water, stream-sediment and soil samples. The implementation of web-based mapping services together with built-in GPS receivers help to quickly and easily orientate during fieldwork. The field tablet application communicates with server software allowing the co-operation and data exchange of bigger field teams. Recently, a software solution was adjusted to the needs of the Geological Survey of Namibia.

Beak Consultants GmbH is a part of important German Federal and Saxonian research projects like WISTAMERZ andROHSA3 helping to develop new approaches in sustainable exploration and metallurgy in Germany and support mining sector investment attraction.

Together with international partners, Beak Consultants GmbH runs exploration programs for Sn, W and Li in the German Erzgebirge on the Sosa and Oelsnitz licences. The integration of mineral exploration and research with software development allows developing new software products meeting exactly practical requirements.
