The first prize of the "GI TAV Diploma and Master Thesis Award in Software Testing" went to Daniela Rose of Technische Universitaet Berlin (Technical University of Berlin) for her thesis entitled "Application of evolutionary algorithms for the coverage-controlled test case generation from timed automata". The second prize went to Stephan Krusche of Technische Universitaet Muenchen (Technical University of Munich) for his thesis "Design and implementation of a tool for the generation of test environments for AUTOSAR software components".
"Encouraging young academics is of particular importance to us. The participation in the GI TAV Award is an exciting opportunity for us to discover and reward young and fresh ideas", says Anja Ranft, Human Resources Manager at Berner & Mattner.
