After seven years of successful work in South Korea, BITZER SE in Sindelfingen promoted its Anyang branch to a 100% Group subsidiary on 20 January 2014. Located near the South Korean capital city, the BITZER Korea Representative Office used to belong to the subsidiary BITZER Refrigeration Asia. The representative office increased its sales from €7 million in March 2007 to around €15 million in 2013. The company’s address and all other contact information will remain the same.
Jong Hwan Byun, who was the General Manager of the BITZER Korea Representative Office and has been working in a variety of functions at BITZER Korea for about seven years, has been appointed the new Managing Director. As an acknowledged specialist in the Asian refrigeration and air conditioning industry, he will be managing the newly founded BITZER Korea Co. Ltd.

Ltd. to the entire team and it represents an important symbol to our customers and partners in the region,’ explains Jong Hwan Byun. ‘BITZER is confident about the potential offered by the South Korean market and is thus expanding its presence there.
