Monitor, Control & Automate in Measurement Technology with NextView 4 Script by bmcm

NV4SCRIPT, the extension for the data acquisition software NextView 4 by BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm), allows the individual realization of measuring tasks as well as the event-oriented automation and control of measurement and test processes.

(PresseBox) (Maisach, )
For more than 20 years, the software NextView has made its mark in the field of data acquisition and analysis. The user software of the longtime specialist BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) has been improved continuously throughout the different PC ages.
To get results fast, the focus has been set on easy-to-use, practical orientation, and intuitive operation.
The latest version 4.5 of NextView for Windows 7/XP includes the whole field of configuration, visualization, acquisition and analysis of measurement data.

The optional add-on module for NV4SCRIPT complements the functionality of NextView in an ideal way.
The script language is similar to BASIC and has been extended by specific commands for NextView. This helps to get started and keeps programming efforts down.

NV4SCRIPT is event-oriented, i.e. programmed actions are started if a critical value is reached or a button or slider has been clicked in NextView.

Customized measuring tasks can individually be solved with the script option.
Monitoring industrial systems or production processes, to be able to react fast in the alarm case, is a typical application for NV4SCRIPT.
Automatic analysis of recorded data after a measurement or the implementation of control processes, e.g. a heating-cooling control in a long-term test can easily be done.

The script module does not require an installation but is activated in NextView by entering the purchased license number and can be used with all NextView versions – Professional, Lite, or Analysis.

Programming support for the script language is provided by the Online Help integrated in NextView as well as various programming examples in the documentation. Example scripts for the bmcm DAQ hardware are available for free download on the new NextView website.

NextView and the script extension are not limited to the German-speaking area. Software and the complete documentation are provided in German and English and will be installed according to the display language set in the Windows control panel and can be changed anytime.

With the extension NV4SCRIPT BMC Messsysteme GmbH (bmcm) contributes significantly to make the DAQ software NextView even more universal and powerful. A fully-functional 30-day trial is provided on the NextView website at www.nextview.de/en
