Internationaler Filmnachwuchs.
Studenten von 42 Filmhochschulen aus 23 Ländern stellten in München ihre Werke vor. Viele der Filmschaffenden nahmen persönlich an der siebentägigen interkulturellen Veranstaltung teil und stellten sich den Fragen des Publikums über Botschaft, Motivation und Technik ihrer Filme. Die Festivaljury bestehend aus dem Filmproduzenten Karlo Funk (Estland), Animationskünstler Till Novak (Mainz) und Filmjournalistin Susanne Hermanski (München) hat 45 kurze Spielfilme, 14 Animationsfilme und 6 Dokumentationen für den Wettbewerb ausgesucht und entschied über die Vergabe von elf Preisen im Wert von insgesamt 50 000 Euro.
