Die neuen Partner übernehmen ab 1. Januar 2007 strategisch beratende und kreative Agenturaufgaben für den deutschen Markt in der Marketing- und Vertriebskommunikation. Zusätzlich wird Media Arts Lab die internationale Verkaufsliteratur für BMW kreativseitig betreuen.
Die Entwicklung weltweit einsetzbarer Launch- und Markenkampagnen für neue BMW beziehungsweise MINI Automobile gehört ebenfalls zu den Aufgaben der Agenturen.
Media Arts Lab wird dazu für BMW Deutschland regelmäßig im so genannten "International Powerhouse" in den Wettbewerb mit weiteren internationalen Agenturen treten. Unter Leitung des zentralen BMW Marketings treffen sich in diesem Gremium die Repräsentanten der Vertriebsregionen sowie die Marketingleiter der sechs wichtigsten BMW Märkte und ihre Agenturen. Die jeweils besten Kreativideen werden ausgewählt und dann umgesetzt.
Analog wird auch Plantage unter Leitung des zentralen MINI Marketings im so genannten "Advertising Team" für MINI Deutschland regelmäßig antreten.
Durch die bewährte Bündelung der Aktivitäten in diesen Gremien gelingt es, die Marken der BMW Group international konsistent zu positionieren. Gleichzeitig profitieren auch kleinere Märkte kosteneffizient von der Professionalität aller beteiligten Agenturen.
