Due to a 16-core/24-thread configuration of the 12th generation Intel® Core™ processor, the Nuvo-9000 models offer a significant performance boost compared to the previous platform. They also support the new DDR5 memory standard for more memory bandwidth, to handle additional workloads such as machine process control and computation, or triple video output with up to 4K UHD resolution.
The embedded systems feature numerous high-speed connectors, including up to six Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ PSE capability, six USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) in Type-A connectors, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gbps) in a screw-lock Type-C connector, three DisplayPorts (VGA, DVI-D, DisplayPort), four COM, and one audio connector. In addition, an M.2 Gen4 x4 slot supports the latest NVMe SSDs with read/write speeds of up to 7000 MB/s.
The Nuvo-9000 series can be flexibly expanded via the patented cartridge module and MezIO® interface. Neousys' patented cartridge module is an innovative design that simplifies installation and replacement, while passive cooling enables quiet and reliable operation without fans. It features up to two PCIe x16 slots that can accommodate frame grabber cards, patented power supply modules, DIO/ AIO cards or four 2.5-inch HDDs/SSDs. The MezIO® interface handles both computer and control signals via a high-speed connector and has a power supply. It offers various inputs and outputs such as RS-232/ 422/ 485, isolated DIO, Ignition Power Control, USB 3.2 Gen 1, Gigabit Ethernet, PoE+ and memory expansion.
"As a latest generation product, the Nuvo-9000 series combines all the advantages in one device. It not only leverages the excellent computing power of the 12th Gen. Intel® processor, but also optimizes hardware performance, with fanless operation at the same time. The Nuvo-9000 series will have expanded variants to meet the needs of various vertical markets, including In-Vehicle, Machine Vision, Edge AI, as well as compact packages for tight installation environments," said Gabor Paxian, Senior Account Manager for Embedded Hardware at BRESSNER Technology.
