The year 2017 counts among the most successful in BSI history: the software company gained prestigious new customers in the DACH region, among them insurance companies such as Baloise Life Liechtenstein, Concordia, ERGO, Rheinland and Visana, as well as financial companies including SIX and WIR Bank, and also omnichannel retailers such as Globus and Sprüngli. “We are pleased that our Indigo release has been so well received and that we were able to grow 10% along with our customers. This confirms our approach of customer proximity and drives us on to continue developing our software products,” stated Markus Brunold, BSI CEO.
CRM as a competitive advantage
BSI invested a great deal of time and energy in the latest release so as to be able to continue impressing customers in the future. Feature and Service Release 3 (FSR3) of BSI CRM Indigo scored points with improvements in ergonomics and performance, as well as useful functions for various industries. Customer requests, such as the depiction of the new data protection ordinance with its own erasing concept, which comply with data protection rules and storage obligations, are also provided in the latest release. “Our product development team uses a variety of sources to keep the software innovative. One particularly important source is the dialogue with our customers. We work together in our industry communities to prioritize suggestions. Through this co-creation, our products are constantly improving and are tailored to customer needs,” according to Markus Brunold, who went on to add: “Our goal for the future is to offer customer journeys that our customers’ competitors do not yet have – with BSI software as the platform.”
10-year anniversary for BSI CTMS
BSI is known for its CRM and industry solutions for insurance companies, banks, health insurance companies, contact centers and retail. BSI is also successful in the field of Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS): BSI CTMS celebrated its 10th birthday this year. Companies including Actelion, ALK-Abelló, Allergopharma, Dokumeds and a well-known Fortune 500 company are among BSI's esteemed CTMS customers. The CTMS community met in November to become acquainted with the latest cloud-based release, called Denim. With its visionary web interface, implemented in HTML5, the revolutionary CTMS generation also “sits” perfectly on mobile end-devices like your favorite pair of jeans. In addition to the refreshing and modern user experience, BSI CTMS Denim awaits with new and practical functions. Among them are modules for diagnostic trials, new reporting features, extensions to existing modules, risk assessment for trials and trial centers, and much more.
Team as success factor
A total of 274 employees are hard at work daily to provide BSI customers with a solution that is easy to operate and which covers crucial functions. “It is not easy to find excellent employees, which is why we are more than pleased that 22 new team members have chosen to come work with us this year. Each and every one of them is precious to us and an important link in our customer appeal chain,” enthused Markus Brunold.
Outlook for 2018:
Digitalization of customer relationships BSI again has major plans for 2018: “We will launch the next major release with BSI CRM Ocean. We are digitalizing customer relationships. Towards this end, we have developed a new product named BSI Studio. It offers our customers the possibility to design customer journeys live, to automatically conduct marketing campaigns and to monitor the reactions. BSI Studio will become an important milestone for modern customer relationship management. We are very much looking forward to facilitating our customers’ future-oriented customer experiences with this digitalization platform and to ensuring their market advantage,” according to Markus Brunold.
