Das mit Hilfe des Pilotvorhabens entwickelte Datenschutz-Zertifizierungsverfahren soll künftig von unabhängigen Zertifizierungsstellen für alle Cloud-Anbieter zur Verfügung stehen.
Das Pilotvorhaben wird vom Kompetenzzentrum des BMWi-Technologieprogramms "Trusted Cloud" durchgeführt. An dem Pilotprojekt sind alle maßgeblichen Akteure beteiligt, darunter mehrere Datenschutzbehörden, Anbieter und Anwender von Cloud-Diensten sowie Unternehmen aus den Bereichen der IT-Prüfung und IT-Rechtsberatung. Das Projekt soll im Frühjahr 2015 abgeschlossen werden.
Über das BMWi-Technologieprogramm "Trusted Cloud"
Ziel des BMWi-Technologieprogramms "Trusted Cloud" ist es, innovative, sichere und rechtskonforme Cloud-Computing-Lösungen zu entwickeln und zu erproben. 14 Projekte mit Beteiligten aus insgesamt 36 Unternehmen, 27 wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen und vier weiteren Institutionen erarbeiten Technologien und Cloud-Anwendungen für die Bereiche Industrie, Handwerk, Gesundheit und den öffentlichen Sektor. Das Technologieprogramm Trusted Cloud ist innerhalb des BMWi-Aktionsprogramms Cloud Computing ein zentraler Bestandteil der IKT-Strategie "Deutschland Digital 2015" und der "Hightech-Strategie" der Bundesregierung.
