A recent study conducted by the famous German F.A.Z. Institute in collaboration with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) confirms that Busch Vacuum Solutions is one of the German companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector that is a “Role Model in Diversity 2023.”
Busch scored 80.4 out of 100 points, placing it among the top ten German companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector in the study. The analysis looked at a total of 280 mechanical engineering companies, of which only 14 scored high enough to be honored.
At Busch Vacuum Solutions, founded 60 years ago by Dr Karl Busch and Ayhan Busch in an equal partnership, diversity has been lived from the very beginning and is an integral part of the corporate culture. Just last year, the Busch family received the “Family Entrepreneur of the Year 2022” award for this corporate culture, the most prestigious award for family businesses in Germany.
In order to obtain a comprehensive picture of diversity in German companies, two methods were combined for the analysis: social listening* and a structured online survey. The study assessed the company’s mission statement, its diversity goals, and the implementation of these.
