Donaueschingen – 05/10/2012: Canvys, a division of Richardson Electronics, Ltd., today introduced desktop LCD displays with True Flat technology available in 18.5 / 21.5 / 24 / 27 and 32 inch screen sizes (18.5 / 21.5 and 32 inch optional with projected capacitive touch).
These displays (18.5 / 21.5 / 32 inch) feature a projective capacitive touch screen which allows for operation while wearing thin gloves, with a conductive stylus, or two-finger operation making them ideal for most applications including retail, industrial and healthcare.
The Canvys True Flat monitors have a flat glass surface extending to the edge of the bezel eliminating areas where dirt or other substances can collect. In addition, the high light permeability of the glass surface at 85 to 90% ensures a brighter screen. The monitors have DVI, HDMI, Display Port or VGA.
Along with the standard product features, Canvys offers a variety of options and customization. Canvys has the design and engineering capabilities to satisfy virtually every customer requirement or application. Some customization options include housing colour, company logo, or special firmware installation.
The True Flat Displays are available immediately at Canvys.
