FEM is the European materials handling federation, who create and publish standards for the material handling industry, relating to duty, operating time and lifespan of the hoist.
To satisfy particular market trends, CHAINMASTER were encouraged to review the existing FEM classifications of their products. After many hours of hard work and testing by the technical team in Germany, it became apparent that the driving mechanism of our 250kg, 500kg and 1000kg D8 Plus hoists are appropriately designed and rated to confirm with FEM 9.511, 2m Status.
This upgrade comes with no changes or modification to the existing design, meaning that this declaration can be made with immediate effect, and all future machines will be marked and classified as such.
Adam Beaumont, Head of Sales at CHAINMASTER said, “This is a welcome elevation to our main product range, that we hope will be well accepted by our customers”.
