Since the EU 2019/904 Single-Use Plastics Directive (SUPD) came into force, certain single-use packaging materials have been subject to mandatory labeling or have been banned altogether. Against this background, the CHT Group has initiated the new development of the innovative BIOLAY barrier products against greases and oils. BIOLAY is a plant-based barrier product against greases and oils to package food safely and sustainably while protecting the environment. The innovative product is completely free from synthetically produced compounds. It is biodegradable, free from fluorocarbons and SUPD compliant.
CHT-COAT WAX
The newly developed BIOLAY barrier products can be precisely adapted to the necessary needs with our new plant-based CHT-COAT WAX emulsions. The paraffin-free biodegradable products are also SUPD compliant.
QUIMIZIME/ZIAX
In times of high energy costs, CHT enzyme products (Quimizime/ZIAX) can significantly save refining energy. The powerful biocatalysts also ensure gentle fiber fibrillation, allowing higher strengths to be achieved.
TUBIBOND
The adhesive products of the TUBIBOND range ensure optimum further processing of the paper. The water-based adhesives offer tailor-made solutions for every application.
