Definitely one of the highlights will be a factory tour to Siemens in Amberg, which is one of the governmental announced demonstration centers of Industry 4.0. The Summer School participants will stay there for a daily visit including factory tour, presentations and discussions with Siemens employees about their experience. Participants will get detailed impressions about implementing the Industry 4.0 idea in an operating factory.
To cooperate together with Japan within a further education seminar is completely new. A group of highly qualified Japanese engineers from different SME companies attend the Summer School to discuss in intercultural groups on challenges of implementing Industry 4.0 solutions. In parallel to the top-class Seminars the Summer School offers an interesting and wide spread framework program.
