Swiss electronics distributor Computer Controls AG is expanding its range with the product lines from Neoway Technology, a manufacturer of machine to machine (M2M) modules from China. With this new supplier, Computer Controls can now fulfill customer requirements for key wireless applications in automotive electronics, facilities and energy technology, medicine and healthcare, and security and surveillance. These include, for example, smart meters for media such as electricity, water and gas, intelligent point of sale (POS) terminals, blood pressure monitors, wearables, and charging stations for electrical vehicles. All these applications now contain communication modules that enable them for the Internet of Things via GSM/GPRS or new wireless standards such as NarrowBand.
