For the pioneering CNC milling machine DATRON neo DATRON AG once again received one of the prestigious Red Dot Design Awards in the industrial design category. The all-rounder machine for short run production and for prototyping convinced the international jury. The latest DATRON product innovation thus is in great of high-speed cutting CNC milling machine M8 Cube, which in 2013 received the Red Dot Award, as well as the high-precision dental milling machine D5 and compact desktop machine D1, which received the renowned seals of approval in 2010 respectively 2015.
Frank Wesp, designer of the new milling machine DATRON neo, is pleased about the fourth Red Dot Award: "We want our customers to enjoy their work. Our products are supposed to assist them. Since 1955, the award is organized by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and is considered one of the most recognized design competitions worldwide. 41 international design experts from different fields assess criteria such as degree of innovation, formal quality, functionality and ecological compatibility in the strict evaluation of the submitted products. Among the record number of 5,200 submitted innovations, DATRON neo is one of those products that have been awarded the coveted design seal due to their high quality of design and the degree of innovation.
