Balanced, with wiper flat and polished twice: these are the outstanding features of the new DATRON 4-in-1 single flute end mill. DATRON combines these features for the first time in a milling tool, promising, besides shorter machining times and an excellent surface finish, several new advantages.
Due to the polished chip channel and the polished flute in conjunction with the patented counter-balanced tip, our new-balanced single flute end mill allows even higher infeed and feed rates than previous standard single flute end mills. The patented multi-talent thus makes itself indispensable for a cost-effective production. Users not only save valuable working time, but also reduce production costs. Compared to conventional single flute end mills, the new milling tool has longer durability, thus reducing tool costs. The patinised counter-balanced tip and the polished chip chamber ensure fast chip removal and protect the milling machine’s valuable spindle, extending its service life. The combination of polished chip channel and new nose geometry provides optimal results both when drilling holes and when machining wall and floor surfaces. In particular, the special nose cut creates extremely precise surfaces with low roughness values (<1 RZ). With over 30 variants, DATRON offers customers an individual solution for a successful production.
